We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SunSpot on any iOS device that you own or control, subject to these terms.

• Daily Sunlight Tracking: Record how long you spend in sunlight each day.
• Streaks: Earn streaks by tracking sunlight daily—each consecutive day increases your streak.
• Sun Quality Guidance: We show current sun quality and suggest whether now is a good time to track your exposure.
• Weather & Forecast: View current weather conditions and a 24-hour forecast.
• UV Index: See the real-time UV index for your location.
• Solar Event Notifications: Schedule reminders for sunrise, sunset, and other solar events.
• Capture Achievements: Snap photos of your milestones and achievements right in the app.
• Community Posts: Share posts with the SunSpot community and view others' uploads.
• Profile Dashboard: See your total sun exposure and current streak at a glance.
• Daily Sunlight Target: Set and track your personal sunlight goals.

• Location and motion data are stored locally on your device unless you enable iCloud backup.
• Community posts (photos, text, comments) are securely stored on Google Firebase, which encrypts data in transit and at rest.
• We use automated AI moderation tools and human reviewers to maintain a family-friendly community.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data.

By uploading or posting any content (including photos, text, or comments) within the community, you:

1. Grant SunSpot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely within the SunSpot app and related services.
2. Represent and warrant that you own or have the rights to the content you post.
3. Acknowledge that your posts may be visible to other SunSpot users, subject to your profile settings.
4. Understand that deleted posts may persist in backups for a limited period.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

To keep SunSpot safe and family-friendly, you agree not to:

• Upload or comment any material that is unlawful, harmful, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory.
• Post content containing nudity, sexual imagery, or violence.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited promotions.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's code or servers.

SunSpot is designed for informational and wellness purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SunSpot, its developers, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the App, or
• Any user-generated content posted by others.

Your use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SunSpot if you violate these Terms or community standards.

We may remove any post or comment that we reasonably believe breaches our guidelines, infringes rights, or harms other users.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
